Cookie policy
What this website stores on your device, why, for how long, and how to change your mind. Required by Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the GDPR.
The short version
This site uses one cookie, and it exists only to remember the choice you made in the banner. Analytics are off until you turn them on, and when they are on they are first-party and anonymous. There is no advertising, no cross-site tracking, no social plug-ins, and no third-party scripts or fonts. The pages load nothing from outside this domain.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser so that it can recognise the device on a later request. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, fingerprinting) fall under the same rules. Except for the strictly necessary ones, they may be used only with your consent.
2. Cookies used on this website
| Name | unitastech_cookie_consent |
|---|---|
| Type | Own (first-party), strictly necessary. Technical. |
| Purpose | Stores whether you accepted or refused optional analytics, so the banner does not ask again on every page. |
| Content | Whether analytics are enabled, the policy version, and the date of your choice. No identifier, no personal data. |
| Duration | 6 months. |
| Consent required | No. Remembering that you refused is covered by the exception in Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE. |
No other cookie is set by this website, whether you accept analytics or not.
3. Analytics, if you enable them
Enabling analytics does not create a second cookie. It authorises the page to send one anonymous row to our own server for the page you are viewing, containing the path, the referring page, the browser language and the screen size, together with a visitor hash that is derived with a secret salt and rotated every day. We do not store your raw IP address, and because the hash changes daily it cannot be used to recognise you tomorrow.
The data stays on our own infrastructure. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party measurement platform, so nothing about your visit is shared with an advertising ecosystem.
Separately, and regardless of your choice, we record three events about the contact form: that it was started, that a submission failed validation, and that the mail-app fallback was used. They never contain what you typed, and they carry no identifier at all unless you have enabled analytics, in which case the same daily-rotating hash is attached. They tell us only whether the form works.
4. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can reopen the settings at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, and switch analytics on or off. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately for the pages you view afterwards.
You can also manage or delete cookies in your browser. Instructions from the main vendors:
Deleting the preference cookie simply means the banner will ask you again on your next visit. Refusing analytics does not limit any part of this website.
5. What happens without any cookie
Like every web server, ours writes technical logs that may include an IP address, in order to keep the site running and secure. That is not a cookie and does not depend on your consent; it is described in the privacy policy, section 2.3.
6. Data protection
Where the information described here amounts to personal data, the controller, the legal bases, the retention periods, the recipients and your rights are those set out in the privacy policy. You may exercise your rights, including withdrawal of consent, by writing to info@unitastech.dev.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add a cookie or change what an existing one does, we will update this page and ask for your consent again where the law requires it. The revision date appears below.
